It was one of the worst programs I have ever tried to use. Everything was complicated. Print outs where stone age. My mistake I did not do the trail. Never expected anything to be so lousy.

I wanted to transfer over to Ascendo Money from another Blackberry accounting software but couldn't accomplish the qif transfer. The tech support responded, followed up, and now it works! I think they must have even created a new Beta version just for me - at least it felt that way. It is a robust program that works well even on the Pearl with its limited memory. Part of the reason is that you can control how many entries you want to sync to the device. I'm now using it for my personal accounts and for tracking business travel. I'm glad I made the switch.

I used PocketMoney on my Treo and was afraid of not being able to use the same type of program on my new BlackBerry. I sampled many applications, and was growing desperate... until I found Ascendo Money. The setup was quite easy both for the desktop and for the actual program on the BBerry. I entered all my accounts and credit cards, and after sync, voila... This program offers so much more than PocketMoney did. The budgeting capability, the icons, the scheduled recurring payments, all is absolutely perfect. I had an issue with transfers and emailed the company and withing 1/2 hour, had the correct procedure to do it (start with the Account page, enter transfer from and then transfer to.- I was starting within the accounted that I wanted to transfer money from). I am amazed at the customer service that the company and Marc have for their clients. They are also very open to hearing what else you would like in their program and I am sure they will integrate more of customers requests if possible. Altogether a brilliant little program with a big soul and great capacities. For someone who has difficulties balancing a checkbook, it is fabulous. I even attributed my right shortcut key to open the program so I can input my spending on the spot while still in the store. This program has paid for itself in Overdrawm fees... Thank you for a lifesaver. Congratulations to Marc and Ascendo Money

"Not as Good As Advertised"

This does not work well with Microsoft Money as is indicated. In fact it messed up my Money when trying to do an import/export. The desktop portion also runs extremely slow. Not a great buy unless you are going to use it on your Blackberry ONLY.
