"Working well so far"
Version: AnywhereTS-Config 1.30
Pros
Fast, effective and free!
I don't have a PXE server so I'm booting from CD. However, it has allowed me to remove the hard disks from PC's on my shop floor which were always breaking because of the harsh environment. I can now swap in another PC ( I have several pre-configured with the same network and video cards) and be up and running again in minutes.
I am also able to re-use older hardware without speed concerns. I am able to limit what programs the users can acess by putting them on a separate 2000 terminal server with very few programs installed. ( don't have to monkey with Group Policy)
Cons
Took several tries to get an image running. Video and network card driver issues. Autodetect not always reliable. But, since I have lots of older supported network and video cards in the PC graveyard, not really a problem.
I had to use the generic VESA driver to get the image to display on LCD monitors.
I went thru a lot of CD's when burning images that didn't boot properly.
