This patriotic-themed screensaver suffers from a small picture library and a tiny feature set, but at least it's free. America Screensaver doesn't display images from the entire United States, instead focusing on Washington, DC. The show starts at the Jefferson Memorial, where the camera pans over the president's statue and the building's architecture. The other two shots are of the White House and the Iwo Jima Memorial, for a total of five images. Due to the limited number of pictures, we'd guess most users will tire of this application after a few runs. A nice rendition of "God Bless America" accompanies the scene, but you'll find an option for disabling it. Unfortunately, you won't find any other features such as the ability to determine image interval or apply transition effects. Still, since it is free, America Screensaver might be worth keeping around for holidays such as Independence Day or Memorial Day.Publisher's description
