"Sometimes "new" is not "improved.""
Pros: The tabs are handy.
Cons: 9.5 is slower to load pages, if it loads pages the first try, and it locks up.
Summary: Considering the so-called 'advantages' between 9.5 and 9.1, you're much better off keeping 9.1, updating your welcome screen with a simple click and saving yourself the trouble of a download and the frustration of realization that you just downloade... read more >>

"I upgraded from 9.1 and 9.5 is slower and locks up."
Pros: I like the tabbed viewing.
Cons: Slow. Locks up.........frequently. Have had problems with other applications while using 9.5 that I didn't have issues with on 9.1.
Summary: Bottom line summary is that it just plain sucks!

Pros: The tab are great.
Cons: None. All software functions depend on your PC condition.
Summary: I like the tabs. Works great.
I have been with AOL since 1999 and this software is the best. The software is easy to use. Loads fast and I am on dial-up. -

Pros: I can't think of any pro right now since AOL 9.5 won't even open for me now :-(
Cons: See above.......this is the worst AOL update I've ever experienced. Bring back my AOL 9.1
