From COR Entertainment :Alien Arena 2007 is a multiplayer online deathmatch game based on the GPL id source code. Powered by version 6.0 of the CRX engine, this game features incredibly smooth and fast gameplay with next-generation engine features such as shaders, realtime lighting and shadows, lensflars, light bloom and reflective water. The game includes 37 maps, eight weapons (with alt-fire modes), ten player characters, mutators, five gameplay modes, and an in-game server browser. Version 6.02 fixes a minor bug with the Galaxy server browser that is included with the game.
Note: This is a very large (201MB) file and may take several hours to download via dial-up modem.

Version: Alien Arena 2007 6.02
"A Typical, Unreal Fragger Clone"
Pros: Not only does this game look fairly good, but it also feels like a carbon copy of Unreal Tournament 2003. And that is a very good thing. There are a lot of servers and the the gameplay is as tight as it will ever be.
Cons: It doesn't have the community of Unreal, however. Rarely do games ever go over 5 or 6n people when I am on. The game is also pretty laggy for slower computers and requires moderate-to-big computer numbers.

Pros: Hmmm my old review is gone, so I'll redo it
Good graphics, gameplay alot like UT2003/2004 and a nice community with literally tons of addons and new maps. Game is constantly being updated. For a freeware game theres alot of players.
Cons: It's not the ammount of players of UT but still always good matches going on.

"Fantastic, Fun, Fast, Futuristic"
Pros: This game takes everything great about Quake 2, and everything great about Quake 3 and meshes it together in a spectacular little 'mars attacks' kitchty kind of package. Easily the best part of this game is the active community. Have you ever played a game and thought 'well i wish it had this.." ? With Alien Arena you can make it happen. The community is more than welcoming and I feel like I have real friends in them. What a wonderful thing Alien Arena is.
Cons: The whole process can be a bit confusing for new people (Galaxy, etc) but once you get the hang of it, it's great.

Pros: Normal gameplay mode. Only deathmatch. More like unreal. Online FPS.
Cons: No other types of gameplay. Thought it will be better.

Version: Alien Arena 2007 6.02
Pros: For a free game, AA has decent graphics, gameplay, and community. And it is only getting better, as updates are released regularly to improve the game. Also, many members of the community provide additional content, such as skins, models, and maps, all of which are high quality.
