Version: AlfaClock Classic 1.83
Pros: Used to be the best...
Cons: Now they added a nag screen that tells you that it's a 30-day trial, and you can't register the free edition. The nag screen has to be clicked shut, and every user profile that uses it pops up that friggin' nag screen. Too many clock synchronizers for free to bother with this one anymore.

Version: AlfaClock Classic 1.83
Pros: Very customizeable. Very easy to use and configure. Works right. Does what it claims to do.
Cons: It is not pure freeware. On startup, a dialog box appears with a 30 day countdown counter for 30 days of evaluation. After that time, I presume they'd like for you to part with some cash. If it's not freeware don't CALL it freeware. This is plain old shareware.

Version: AlfaClock Classic 1.83
"Easy to use tray clock replace does everything you expect (and more)"
Pros: - easy to use prefs interface
- fully customizeable
- can do anything you may expect from a clock
as time sync for yous system clock (lots of predef. time servers, but can be set up with own sources)
as reminder (with popup messages and sound)
as replacement for scheduler (starts programs with parameters)
as source for date/time stamps for programms which do not have such a function
- even works with style changing apps like Window Blinds
Cons: I use it for several months now, but cannot find anything, will not miss it

Version: AlfaClock Classic 1.83
"So easy to use, so useful, so free"
Pros: This is the best freeware I've come across in a while. Completely customizable, very easy to use, fully integrated with the existing clock, and best of all, synchronizes with an atomic clock.

Version: AlfaClock Classic 1.83
"Actually it does have limitations!"
Cons: Unfortunately the information on this page is not entirely accurate. There are limitations - Alfaclock 1.99 *expires* in May 2008.
The old Alfaclock 1.83 suddenly started producing a nag screen saying that you had 30 days of evaluation left! (a nasty little piece of 'freeware' that one).
This naturally upset a few long time users. Subsequently, Alfasoft produced Alfaclock 1.99 which they have admitted up front expires in May 2008 (unlike 1.83 which they originally claimed to be entirely free).
You have been warned!
