This isn't the most feature-packed Windows-optimization utility, nor the most effective, but we found it one of the easiest to control. Advanced WindowsCare's simple interface offers two main options: Repair and Repair And Optimize. The former fixes Registry entries and cleans out your operating system. The latter does the same thing and tweaks Windows for maximum performance.
If you run into trouble, the Restoration option can return your system to its original configuration. The Advanced menu provides fine control over repairs and optimizations. On the downside, we noticed only one improvement on our test PC: a reduced amount of used RAM. Also, the program's brief descriptions of system problems may not satisfy seasoned users. And although the latest version of the app includes a help file, we wouldn't call it extensive.
Nevertheless, if your system is running sluggishly and you're considering reinstalling Windows, it wouldn't hurt to try this freeware package first.

Version: Advanced WindowsCare Personal 2.51
Pros: Because this has been updated many-many times, I keep downloading the newest version, using, and getting a email from Cnet asking for my review. However, this software has worked perfectly from the beginning, so I really don't understand why all the updates. In any case, it continues to work great, with all the updates, and so I still give it my highest rating.
Cons: Almost every time I'm asked to review anything, I get a message from Cnet saying, "There has been a problem contacting the Download.com servers. Please try again later." Cnet should solve its server problem.

Version: Advanced WindowsCare Personal 2.51
Pros: I've tried all the 4-5 Star rated registry cleaners (Free and Free To Try) on this website and this software does the best job for my XP. For months my screensaver wouldn't work and I couldn't figure out the problem. I ran this program once and if fixed my screensaver issue. It's easy on resources, I can run other programs while this one is running, use Outlook, search the internet, and play games.
Cons: There is an iObit pop up that starts the same time as the program, but it's really no big deal because how long does it really take to click on the 'X' to make it go away? .000% of a second?

Pros: I have used virtually every utility suite out there, free and commercial. This is easily the best. The "one click" feature saves the time I used to spend opening, running 3-4 modules, closing, opening the next suite, etc. etc.
I would still recommend free RegSeeker and Hitman Pro along with AWC. I used to install many utilities on the computers I sell, but these three are more than adequate.
Cons: None.

Pros: Well apart from other programs i use my system runs pretty smooth. But you know i i keep asking how to improve my PC! Normally i use the excellent Windows onecare safety scanner clean up tool etc also as a saftey measure but i was not still happy with my PC 's performance. So i grabbed this little beauty and my PC now runs much better. The registry scan, spyware clean etc is just 1st class! All done with one single click, i can't praise this program tool enough. But as usual install other security but this is a must, need i say more?
Cons: NOTHING!!!

"Publishers Description "IS"...Right-ON Target with no...Bull!"
Pros: It is very seldom that someone comes up with such a "Good Product" and offers it to the public without a big $price-tag$ hanging over it.and /or some type of "Gimmic" that is tagging along-side the product...Well...Here's one for the Record folks...this is a well produced product that every pc user should be proud to have. It does a very-good job to help the user keep his/her pc running in a good state of mind and is extremely effective finding hidden problems that most do not even think-of...it is well written and lite on resourses.."Most Amazing...It Is Free.You will not find anyother 's like this on the market that are free and that preform also! it just don't happen in this day when all that matters is the $DOLLAR$. I dare any to match this product.why pay a fortune for a product that don't really work and/or is full of spy and Tracking cookies.when you can get an HONEST and WORKING program such as this..I say: Thanks (iobit) for being there.And I look foward to your up-coming anti-spy program.anyone that would pass up this offer is a Dummy-out-of-the-Box.
Cons: unsure if one-click on the "Memory" ie.tool is sufficient or...several clicks is ok as,it continues to inprove with each...click?????
