This utility for recovering instant-messenger passwords quickly takes care of its main job, though the trial limitation may render it useless to some folks. After launching the program, we were glad to see a no-nonsense interface that took only seconds to learn.
We also appreciated that Advanced Instant Messengers Password Recovery supports a large number of chat clients, from common ones, such as Yahoo and MSN, to lesser-known competitors, such as Miranda and Ipswitch. However, since the trial version only lets you recover three-character passwords, we had a tough time evaluating its full powers. It was only after we got a new IM account and created a three-character password that we were able to ascertain that the program delivers on its promise.
Also, if you've recently reinstalled your OS, the help files warn that this application may not be able to assist you. Although we would prefer a less-stringent demo limitation, this program could be a boon to forgetful chatterboxes.

After installing this product, I kept getting "I.E. has encountered a problem and needs to close". I could not uninstall it thru Add/Remove Programs so I uninstalled it by another method and immediately my PC was back to normal function.

I don't have to even download, to find its uselessness. Many messenger services don't accept password less than 6 digits. Moreover, anyone who is using three-digit password in todays net-world (and that too forgets those three digits!) is a rare joker and does not even deserve to chat. Anyways, I don't know why its is posted on download.com at all...

I must be in a computer in which it finds to me previously connected, or simply from any computer I can enter and recover the key? im not paying $30 if i dont know how it works.And the free to try is a joke. Anyway seems to be a good program although the description is incomplete.
