You can do nearly everything that Admiral does, but not nearly as quickly. This simple program works through hot keys and the context menu of your system tray icon to quickly open a specific window or program. We suggest you jump right in and start using the program before changing any settings.
The tabbed Properties window is initially intimidating, but if you've spent time using the program, they'll make much more sense. Here, you can set hot keys to activate the Window Management, Quick Opening, and Process Control features. You can also set hot keys that will determine which open windows are shrunk and displayed together on the screen. You won't need to visit Admirial's busy settings window too often, as all of the action takes place through the hot keys you set up or by accessing the system tray icon's context menu. Admiral worked pretty fast to shrink and reorganize open windows so you could see them all on the desktop. You can set other parameters so only the windows of a specific program open, which makes this a very useful tool if you frequently view several files from one program. While you could manually shrink and arrange the windows yourself, it would take far longer. Admiral handled the job very quickly. We also liked the Quick Opening feature, which lets you type in a few characters as it searches for matching files. You can easily open executables or program-related files.
The program is listed as "free to try," but you'll have an ample trial period to test the fully functional demo version. If you're looking for a new approach to manage windows and make it easier to find and open files, you should try out this effective little program.

Pros: None Noted
Cons: Only worked briefly. Changing keys loses functions. Hot corners never work. Does not uninstall properly. ZERO support, NO web documentation even for reference.
