I've been using the Windows and Palm versions for a while and it's all very slick. Nice, intuitive interface and Adarian is constantly improving the product. Support is top-notch. I sent an email question in on a Sunday and it was answered the same day! Impressive, they really stand behind a great product.

Summary
This is one of my favorite programs. You can add as many accounts from checking, savings, credit cards, mutual funds, etc... It is helpful because I have two bank accounts (one for play money other for bills) and it helps me keep track of everything. Or if you have a or some gift cards you car add them to help keep how much is on them. It is very handy with the charts because you can see where you are spending the money the most or how much you are spending on a certain thing, for me fishing/boating stuff. I also like the charts so you can see if you spend more on certain months or see how your spending is year to year so you can keep you finances in order and not over spend. I also like the budget so you can set a budget and you can see how much (dollar amount and %) you have paid/left to pay. Having the desktop program is perfect. Other programs I tried didn't have a desktop program with them. If you want to get your finances in order this is a program you stood look at.

Summary
I'm not an accountant but I like to know the status of my finances to keep in control of spending and mortgage repayments etc etc. I like to have information presented clearly and understandble. I have used other software - both on pc and palm and I don't think you could beat Adarian Money for features or value. For me, the ability to easily analyse things with all the different reporting options and graphic displays including cashflow with projections make this software stand out on its own. Add to this a Windows PC version to sync with - there is so much info to view that I haven't yet found my way through everything. The software has basically been bullet-proof in operation, I have contacted and had quick and excellent help from the developer when an error with my E2 resulted in losing the database - but this was recoverable (due to backups). And now, to my utter amazement, I was able to upgrade to version 4 without additional fee! The Windows version has changed more, but there are a few nice changes on the Palm especially with the "current status" view - but all the normal goodies are still there. Well done Adarian. Top product.

"An excellent personal finance program!!!"

Summary
This is the most intuitive pda personal finance program I have ever used and I've purchased a few. The only fall back is the instructions on entering the serial number. It took me about a week of tinkering, uninstalling, and reinstalling before figuring out how to do it. You must go to the "about" tab to enter reg. key otherwise your trial will count down the days. Its a little confusing until you figure that out but then it is extremely productive. Well worth the money. Thanks

I too trialled all the other Palm finance programs either before or after Adarian - and nothing else came close to the almost complete satisfaction one gets in using this program. As one other reviewer noted it's not just the top finance software - it's an exemplar of how any complex Palm software should be implemented. The within-program help file is without a doubt the most comprehensive Palm online assistance Ive come across. The developer has an unbelievably systematic mind, and just seems to foresee every possible question, problem and need you could possibly have. This also shows up in the Adarian Support Forums where his responsiveness to problems is unparalleled. But I guess the thing that really makes Adarian hard to beat is its flexibility and feature-richness. It has many more features than any other competing program, and the new beta (available at Adarian) has even just introduced database encryption (albeit only 64bit). The only feature that it doesnt have yet, and which some users find useful with other progs, is live data transfer with your online bank account.

This application is simply 100% usable. The functionality is all there and it actually works. The PC desktop version has an excellent upcoming payment reminder feature which is helpful without being annoying (like other apps). Absolutely first class piece of work!

Pros
Adarian Money is intuitive, easy to use, and well designed. The other financial apps I tried on my Palm fell short by comparison. I was readily able to set up accounts and budgets. It can easily import Quicken statements. Adarian Money on my Palm keeps me on track with finances, and it remains among my most-used applications.
Cons
I would like to see a MacOS version of the desktop, however the recently added ability to export to card on the Palm has made this need far less pressing.
