This is one of the most friendly, flexible, and comprehensive system spy utilities we've used, but it suffers from a glaring omission. AceSpy Spy Software's tidy interface simplifies finding what you need in the massive data it saves. Installation is greatly simplified by a wizard that asks users simple questions to build the default program configuration. Changing settings later is just as easy.
Understand that every data type display screen is just as well-designed as the main interface. You can effortlessly display lists of applications ran or installed, windows or documents opened, keystrokes captured, or many other system events. Select dialogs offer simple search capabilities while all logs can be easily saved as text files. Internet activity is well logged with an odd omission. Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, or AIM chat conversations are logged, as are sites visited in Internet Explorer. However, the program fails to capture sites visited using Firefox.
You can conveniently set the capture interval, plus easily set the app to capture Webcam images and sound. Our favorite feature was the simple screenshot movie maker. It takes a few strokes to combine the captured screens into a simple AVI file. Novices will love the simple setup, and advanced users will favor AceSpy Spy Software's robust feature set.
