Whether you're a demanding Webmaster who needs rock-solid stability and speedy performance or you're simply managing some files on an FTP server, AceFTP is the program for the job. The well-designed interface is loaded with colorful icons for tasks such as connecting to a server, disconnecting, and accessing Favorites. Icons for creating new folders, changing directories, and other tasks follow the Windows Explorer style. In addition to the standard client/host two-window layout, AceFTP has a multifunctional third window wherein you can monitor the logs, keep track of file transfers, or preview simple HTML pages and images. AceFTP is a pleasure to look at and use, and thankfully the behind-the-scenes workings live up to its looks. We found file transfers speedy and the program stability good. Though AceFTP has some innovative features, its main appeal is the overall fit and finish, especially considering it's freeware. We recommend AceFTP to anyone seeking a solid FTP client.Publisher's description

"Never fail, Options galore - Excellent"
Pros: I like the options to create new folders-rename, et cetera - overall organization, the maneuverability it allows.
Cons: Accessing site info easily - you have to hunt and peck a bit, it's not real intuitive.

"One step away from being a virus"
Cons: It wants to install its toolbar into your browsers. So I categorize it as a virus.
If you DO accept, all you get is a crap FTP client, slightly worse than FileZilla.

Pros: Technically it is free.
Cons: It doesn't perform any better than the very old one I already have. It costs you in loss of privacy and control of your own computer.
Summary: If I could find no other I would probably consider this one. As long as there are choices I won't
