This application provides quick links to frequently used programs, folders, or Web sites. AcceleRun's uniquely designed interface arranges shortcuts in categories such as Exe, Doc, Fold, Web, and Net.
The program imports menu items from your Start menu, and makes it easy to run them. Type a few letters of the program name into the input box: AcceleRun selects the best match, and you click or press Enter to activate the shortcut. Adding shortcuts also is easy; you can do it manually or drag and drop the target application directly to a category. Extra features, such as those that let you customize the Start menu and remove empty shortcuts, are nice additions.
Although AcceleRun is tagged as free with no limitations, a nag box for buying the Pro version appears frequently. Power users will benefit most from this effective, RAM-efficient utility.
