CNET Editors' review
This application hides your icons to float a DOS interface on your desktop, but crashes if used to start programs that require user input. ASCi Desktop iFace is an opaque DOS window. Standard DOS and user-created batch commands work in the window, but some program commands may crash the interface. As a shell replacement, this utility is less useful than the standard Windows DOS shell. There is no help file. The program is listed as beta, but the publisher Web site has disappeared. It looks and feels like a partially implemented idea. Any user familiar with DOS commands could use this interface. However, we feel the 15-day trial is more than enough time to realize much better utilities are available elsewhere.Publisher's Description
From ASCi - AntiSociaL Computers:
ASCi Desktop Command iFace replaces your desktop icons with a nice, neat, command interface that supports DOS and Windows commands. It also supports the entry of personal custom commands.
