APS PowerTools provides essential Macintosh drive management with the most comprehensive feature set available in Macintosh formatting software. Using the convenient control panel, you can test, format, initialize and partition any Mac block storage device, including SCSI, IDE and APS USB or FireWire drives, Jaz, MO, Zip and more. It can also be used to mount, unmount and password protect volumes, and create fast, high performance RAID volumes.

What's new in this version:

  • Fixed "Error 12" from APS PowerTools 6.4.2 when running under Mac OS 8.6 on newer FireWire drives (Oxford 911). This issue does not occur with older FireWire drives under Mac OS 8.6
  • Removed incorrect display of "...does not run under Mac OS X" when running APS PowerTools 6.4.2 under native Mac OS 9.x. This message will displayed on older Macs that do not have an ATA/IDE bus (i.e. Power Mac 9500 and below)
