AOL Toolbar provides a quick hop to your favorite sections of America Online.
Although installation was smooth, it was lengthier than we expected. The toolbar includes a Google-powered search field that gives a more expedient way to search AOL. Convenient button links get you to your mail, AIM, the news, weather, radio, and more. The pop-up blocker is an appreciated inclusion, and the quick links to instantly clear your history, cookies, and caches are providential.
You're in the driver's seat as far as featured buttons go. You'll choose the buttons that will appear on the bar, and there's a link to a page with additional buttons to get around the site. While nonsubscribers can use this free add-on for news and the like, the mail and AIM features are exclusively useful to AOL users. Since the toolbar's focus is to have all roads lead to aol.com, AOL Toolbar can be beneficial to anyone who likes what AOL has to offer.

Version: AOL Toolbar 5
"If I had more room, I'd use it."
Pros: Actually, it's a good "Internet Explorer" toolbar for those with an "AOL" account. This application provides easy access to such an account, emails and counts of emails waiting to be read. This toolbar is customizable with several buttons you can add like news and weather and comes with a good popup blocker. It runs fine with "XP" and "Vista" systems.
Cons: I've already have two other toolbars running in "Internet Explorer". Any more would be redundant.
