Version: ANNI Professional 3.14.1
"The Smartest Computer Investor"
Pros: Optimized CPU Usage: I can train while working, and when I restore to full screen - the entire engine is available to tweak. Other tools I've tried were either black boxes with little settings, and/or they had a horrendous interface and/or grinded my computer to a halt.
Intellectually Stimulating: As an investor who loves AI to begin with, I had as much fun just playing with the AI and watching it train at the intellectual level, as I did analyzing it's very well done outputs at a user/investor level.
Real World Accurate: I've been using ANNI for about 2-3 months now. I trained it extensively on a stock my family is heavily into. And though there was significant doubt that this stock would go down ANNI called it right on and weeks in advance while it was still going up to record heights.
Exemplary Support: The developer is very involved and takes great pride in getting it right. I was among his first to blunder into Vista using it (dang forced OS's on new comps). At the time, most of my other 3rd party software wouldnt work on Vista. Not only did ANNI work, but when I got a couple minor glitches, he was fast to respond with emails on suggestions of what I did wrong. In one case, it wasn't me, and I'd found a rare bug - so he came out with a patch to fix it within a week, he would simply not tolerate any flaws. You rarely find support like this, and my praise comes from a developer (which I am as well, so I really do know).
Cons: It is too fun to play with! Sometimes I'm spending so much time running scenarios with AI, I forget the purpose of getting the program was to trade in the real world. Is that a bad? Well if so, it is the only bad thing I can say for ANNI.
