This free screensaver lets you tour the pubs of Ireland without taking an expensive vacation. The images of the pubs are all taken from outside, although most users will have no idea where these bars are located since the program lacks informative captions. A Bit O Blarney.com Irish Pubs Screensaver's image quality is the biggest downside here, as shots mostly appear blurry, washed-out, and very amateur. We also would like some theme music to liven things up a big. Still, it's nice this application doesn't neglect user-customization options, allowing you to set transition effects, determine image interval, and view the slides alphabetically or at random. Happily, this screensaver is totally free and doesn't foist adware upon your computer. Even though we wish this screensaver looked more professional, folks with Irish heritage or those looking for a St. Patrick's Day theme might test it out.
