Publisher's description of 400 Years of the Telescope Desktop Wallpaper
2009 will be the International Year of Astronomy in celebration of Galileos first use of the telescope for gazing upon the heavens. Join the celebration with these selected scenes and skyscapes wallpapers from the documentary 400 Years of the Telescope produced by Interstellar Studios. Each skyscape image is created from a single frame time-lapse exposure. These are not composite images. Three formats are available: 1920x1080, 1024x786 and 800x600. The download contains the 1024x786 version. The other formats can be downloaded from the documentary Web site. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
