Finally you can interact with your PC the way guys in Hollywood think we should, as long as your computer has enough power. The minimum requirements for 3DNA Desktop are 1GHz CPU, 256MB RAM, and a 64MB video card, high enough to leave behind quite a few non-game PCs. The change of paradigm is fascinating, though. Instead of picking shortcuts on a trite two-dimensional desktop, you are walking around some kind of a 3D house that you can change to a space station, or whatever else, by downloading a new world. Panels on the wall function as browser windows, and picture frames display your digital photos. While amateur users will likely suffer some difficulties, computer enthusiasts may enjoy a very rewarding experience.Publisher's description
From 3DNA :3DNA is a 3D desktop enhancer that improves the way you work with Windows and the Web. You can choose from different 3D add-on worlds to explore and customize for an immersive and entertaining desktop. 3DNA works by overlaying the wallpaper area and easily lets you toggle between your 3D and 2D desktop with the click of your mouse. You can move around easily, or simply teleport to different areas when you want to launch applications, open folders, surf the Web, or play music. Personalize each 3D world by hanging your digital photos on the walls by simply dragging them onto the picture frames.
Each world contains areas to create links to your folders, files, and programs. 3DNA will even scan your system to create a custom set of links to get you started. Once you have selected the world you like, you can download additional user-created themes and skins or create your own to share. The latest version features enhanced drag-and-drop support, the new 3DNA Portal, a download area, and much more.

Version: 3DNA Desktop 1.1
Cons: It could have been a lot better. The graphics are not good. There is a limitation on the icons you can have. Just a waste of time

Version: 3DNA Desktop 1.1
Pros: Imagine if in the real world, you could move around your home, and reach up and use your hand to click on floating icons, situated around the room, to check a recipe, while you're making the dish, read your mail, access the internet, etc, how cool would this be! Well this program lets you do exactly that and it's just plain fun! You have a large space with a balcony to look out over the water/mountains, whatever scenery you choose and you decorate your house to your own style. Use your own photos or art for the walls. You can download objects as well, such as rugs, and you decide where to locate all your documents and files, (inside a desk drawer perhaps?). See all your favorite webpages, open and displaying their homepages, like a real life multi-screen television! And there are numerous places for all your favorite programs and such. It's truely like being in your own place! Although it is very futuristic, it is also a very familier way to work, or play. Check it out!
Cons: NONE,This program gets a bad rap. If you have a wimpy machine, DON'T DOWNLOAD IT! You can install the program without the spyware, just don't click through blindly.

Version: 3DNA Desktop 1.1
Cons: I HIGHLY reccomend reading the TOS before installing. Yes, that's right, READ the terms of service- all eight pages of it. 3DNA installs the notorious 'Myway' toolbar, and has the potentional to install viruses and trojans 'which may inadvertently be transferred to your computer through your use of our Applications.' Of course, if this happens it's all the user's fault for not taking proper measures to protect their computer. A good spyware-removing program can get rid of the toolbar and there is an uninstaller available on their website, but I'd still be cautious when downloading.

Version: 3DNA Desktop 1.1
Pros: - Downloading was no problem. That's it on the pro side, but...
Cons: - Twice I downloaded it after reading good things about it here and in yesterday's Yahoo! Tech Tuesday section. System check was conducted and I passed it easily. It just won't start-up at all...just left an invisible circular mark on the lower right of the screen, probably where there logo should be.
As I said...a big waste of my time!!!
