  Pros

  - Generates wide variety of barcodes - Work on local PC - Lots of Parameters - Saves PNG files - Reads data files - Accomodates Numeric Series - Free - no limitations or restrictions

  - can we add an automated script language?? :)

  Summary

  Had to post a recommendation. Allowed me to create complex QR codes for business cards. So much better than using web based systems. The software simply takes your raw data and encodes it into the barcode. Installed great. Worked cleanly. Excellent!!! Thank You!

  Pros

  Has over 50 different bar code formats. Easy to use interface.

  Cons

  Does not appear to allow copy of the bar code image to your clipboard. You have to save to a file and then insert the image file into an application

  Summary

  Bottom Line: it generates every style of bar code I've needed. It's a simple app that is portable (ie. it can run from a thumb drive) and the resulting image file can be used by any application that supports image embedding.
