This easy-to-use application hunts and downloads videos in YouTube, but it misses some fairly standard conveniences.

YouTube Cone has a clear-cut interface that is very easy to comprehend. Searching for videos is simple, as you merely enter your term and press Search. Your favorite videos can be bookmarked and displayed under the Favorites tab. The program uses your current Internet connection and performs searches and downloads in YouTube. It displays the number of views, thumbnails, and video captions, though the captions displayed were a muddle of codes in our tests.

Download speeds are reasonable; however, it doesn't use filters or algorithms to limit the output and determine identical files. Unlike comparable programs, YouTube Cone doesn't come with its own video player. Overall, novice users will find this freeware decent for a video downloading program, but more experienced users will probably prefer an application with more brawn and geared to accommodate all types of files.
