Editors’ Review
Although it's intended to assist astrologers in readings, this program's awkward design and cumbersome navigation are big negatives. Astro's plain interface doesn't guide you in using it, and a file menu is the only way to navigate through the available options. The Help file, such as it is, may give you a sense of where to begin, but most of it is as confusing as the program.
To start, select Data, then Birth Info. After entering information, it's possible to view natal, compatibility, and other charts, though the graphics can make these somewhat difficult to read. You can change some elements under Graphic Options, but the Help file's note that changes will only apply to viewing or printing, but not both, was somewhat confusing and no explanation was provided.
Regardless of your comfort level with astrological principles, you'll need to be at least an intermediate or above computer user to have a chance of successfully using Astro, though the output hardly seems worth the effort.
