By the glass, bottle or case, we make it easy and fun for buyers and sellers of wine to find each other. Our mobile application allows buyers to request wine by the glass, bottle or case, at the price they want to pay, and the timeframe they want to buy in. Sellers, who typically are wineries, restaurants, wine bars, and retailers, listen to requests posted in the marketplace and respond with their offers. Sellers can also directly post their inventory, to reach a large number of listening buyers. Buyers are notified of offers that match their request, and can choose the offer that best meets their criteria. Wine Societies consummates the transaction for both parties. Buyers can either procure the wine at the seller's venue, or the seller can ship the wine to the buyer. Buyers may choose to gift their purchase. They simply email the transaction receipt to the gift recipient, who can then claim the purchase from the seller. A rating and review option allows buyers to rate the wine, seller, and price paid.
