Dr. Salman's Window Security Toolkit has a well-designed, easy-to-use interface with a very comprehensible help file. It categorically presents computer sections according to functions so even novice users can easily manage. It also employs a color scheme to identify the action required for applying or removing changes, although we wish message prompts were offered as well. With Dr. Salman's Window Security Toolkit you can effectively control access to your personal settings by hiding them from other users. Each setting can only be modified through the application itself, which is password-protected. Among the additional features is a file-encryption option that uses a 160- and 128-bit encryption algorithm. The only shortcoming we found in our tests is the seven-day trial period, which didn't seem sufficient to fully test the application's capabilities. Even so, we recommend this user-friendly and effective suite of security tools for all skill levels.
