- Mostly useless "free" edition. This should be in the "free to try" category, not free. You can reduce the features in a free edition but it has to work unencumbered. Having a timebomb on all or part of the software is typically considered an EVAL edition.

- The screen shot on CNET looks pretty. When I installed this product, I immediately received a pop up screen that said the following: "Limitations (in comparison to Business Edition): *For private non commercial use only. *Banner will be added randomly to the image. Other banner will be ignored if our banner gets randomly added. *Live Stream will stop after 5 minutes. *Network Camera will stop after 20 minutes. *Motion Detection will stop working after one hour. If you want to work without these limitations, just order/purchase VisionGS Business Edition." I think that these limitations make the free version quite useless. I would not recommend VisionGS Private Edition which is the free version offered for download here on CNET.
I use VisionGS BE, not free. Disappointing lack of support, fatal memory leak.

- If it worked as advertised, would be very impressive.<p>Was the only software I found that claims to support the Linksys WVC54, although it turns out it doesn't.

- Lack of support. It claims to support the Linksys WVC54, but the VisionGS driver for this camera has a bad memory link. I can only use the program for 20 minutes before having to restart the entire program. The only response from Visiongs was that they were working on this known problem, & had found a fix - but they have never (after more than a year) released the fix. My emails, and messages on feedback on their own web site, or ignored. Very disappointing.

- This application completely wasted my time with an utterly misrepresented product. The free PE version *does not* support streaming, although that is not made clear until after the download and installation. <p> <p>Apparently this developer is a member of a growing number of authors who misrepresent their products in hopes of tricking users into upgrading, instead of treating people with respect and being honest about what is offered. <p> <p>It will be my pleasure to share my dissatisfaction with this product with my fellow users. <p> <p>Good bye, contemptible scum.
