Does not "monitor", don't waste your time

This claims to be a serial port monitor. But it doesn't monitor - i.e. report the traffic going in and out of a serial port. All it does is what putty or a terminal program does, lets you type stuff that is then _sent_ to a serial port and displays stuff that is received,

Apparently cannot passively monitor outgoing data from another application, as I thought a "monitor" would do.
Summary
This takes control of the serial port and handles all sends and receives. You can't run another application on the PC that is sending/receiving data on that port at the same time. Once you understand that limitation, it looks like it does what it's supposed to.

Doesn't work on Windows 7. Can't get it to receive any data. Can't tell if it sends anything. Doesn't even close properly. Try to close the software and get error. Have to kill with task manager.
