Malware alert.
biteanapple- Pros
- This program came installed long with some kind of SourceForge download manager WITHOUT permission (I'm always careful with installations and I'm pretty sure that during no part of the installation process was I asked or even informed about it.) Yes, SOURCEFORGE. It's sadly longer trustworthy.

- We had an issue where all files in a folder on our network appeared to be corrupted and no one could open (Office, pictures, PDF). After troubleshooting, we saw a person from the group that had access to this folder had a great deal of Malware on their machine, including Conduit Search Protect (pretty infamous) among others, that was all installed at the same time on the same day, AnySend being one of them. Event Viewer on his computer showed AnySend as the original application installed. Google search brought me here. We now have ~200MB worth of files that can no longer be accessed.

- when installing i said NO to other programs to install, it installed them anyway! downloads were fast but then after about the 5th download my AV program informed me it had installed the pup virus. When i first scanned the actual program it came up clean but its all the other programs it installs later on. Takes over your browser and installs all kinds of nasty programs on your pc. - This installed on my computer when I (foolishly) tried to install another free program. I cannot uninstall it - so far. I didn't want it, and the usual ways to uninstall (Windows/Control Panel/Remove Programs - and CCleaner) will not work. I get an icon that asks me if I REALLY want to remove it (yes - yes I do!) but gives me no way to do so.
