• System Mechanic Pro Does It All

  Pros

  I've been using Iolo System Mechanic for over 7 years and in this time I've been able to pretty much run error free by running the program every couple days. If I ever do sense the computer is acting sluggish; or is not running smoothly, I quickly stop and perform a system mechanic analysis. I have recommended this program to all my friends who are all now using Iolo System Mechanic, mostly the Pro version.

  Cons

  I can not think of anything that is a problem with Pro System Mechanic!

  Summary

  If you try the free trial, you'll probably really like it and most likely you will buy an annual subscription.

  Keep a new computer running new and will restore a older computer you are ready to throw away.

  I addicted- I can't own a PC without System Mechanic . It is the very first piece of software I install. Plus, installing and running System Mechanic is the first I do on all my new computers.

  It scans the hard drives thoroughly Improves system performance (for real) It makes suggestions, doesn't just change things Keeps track of memory and hard drive issues Monitors start-up/shutdown issues It doesn't eat up memory

  It's somewhat intimidating for a newbie There's so much that it does I still haven't learned to wholly utilize it.

  Did not catch all the errors. Ran Iobit Advanced System Care 9 free after running all the programs on System Mechanic Pro. Iobit found 222 registry errors, 638 privacy issues, 351.4 mb of junk files, 7 internet problems, 2 shortcut errors, 9 performance issues, and 2 browser security issues. You decide which one is best.

  Now contains a fraudulent and misleading advertising campaign (pre pay for a discount on next version).

  It is such a shame that an otherwise outstanding app has been compromised by such a pathetic attempt at scamming money from customers.
