Change your speaker settings in the control panel.

Speakersetup is a command line utility that can change speaker mode (5.1 surround, headphones, stereo speakers, 7.1, 4.5..) without going to control panel all the time. Ideal for gamers and htpc addicts for changing speaker mode with a shortcut and a hotkey. Examples: (speakersetup 5.1) will change to 5.1 surround sound speakers. (speakersetup hp) will change to headphones. More speaker modes can be found in readme.txt. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
