Southside Solutions Word of the Day is software that ultimately expands users' vocabulary and scholastic aptitude via conveniently presenting users with a different word/definition pair in a tiny window on their computer desktop every 24 hours, upon request or at application launch. The data displayed is retrieved from a locally stored, OEM supplied lexicon. The database is comprised of 366 words and definitions painstakingly chosen from contemporary video, audio and print sources. The lexicons provided are tailored to fluent speakers of the English language who possess a thorough understanding of phonetics and grammar. With Southside Solutions proprietary QuickQuiz feature, Word of the Day also provides users with multiple-choice, self-grading testing functionality in order to test users' educational progress. The quizzes are randomly generated; hence you will practically never take the same quiz twice!
