Though it severely lacks features, SizeUpDirectories reveals just how much space a program's folders are eating up on your computer. The program is quite simplistic in nature and its main dialog is about as mundane as they come. Even so, after you select a folder or directory, SizeUpDirectories quickly tallies and displays an accurately combined total of space consumed by all the files it contains. We're a tad disappointed that the application won't launch a program or file from its interface on the off chance you'd like to take a closer look at its contents, nor does it offer file splitting or even simple deletion. You can create a new folder if you need to, but that's hardly noteworthy. The trial version doesn't give the total space consumed in folders or directories exceeding 250MB, and you can't save the results. Mediocre as it may be, SizeUpDirectories is useful if you simply want to see the size of your folders, though you'll need another application to do something about it.

Developer's Description

Find out how much space applications occupy on your hard drive.

SizeUpDirectories is a utility that allows you to easily determine how much space an application is using on your hard drive by adding up the sizes of all its files. It allows you to index your hard drive for space hogs and gives you a breakdown of what products on your system are using the most space. You can save directory information to easily come back and look at it later and see how much space you've saved.

Note: Folder size limited to 250MB.
