• Only able to inventory MS software

  Pros

  This pulls together about 5 other free programs I have into one interface. Now I have one tool instead of 5.

  Cons

  Does not find software like Adobe, etc... Should state limited to very few software keys that it can find. Price stated on Cnet is $29.99, however, this exact version cost me $39.99 at checkout. Demo does not let you see the software licenses that are retrievable. You have to buy the software to find out that it will not recover your install keys for Adobe and Snagit.

  Summary

  Does not appear to do anything I can't get about 5 other programs to do. However, don't count on it helping with a software inventory or recovery of software keys on your local machine.

• If SIW Doesn't Have It, You Don't Need It!

  Pros

  After a traumatizing laptop crash a few years ago, I've learned the importance of awareness in regards to what is on your pc, where it came from, and other priceless information that can be utilized after a crash, memory loss, or any particular time.

  Cons

  The plethera of information available can be overwhelming at first, but take your time, start with something small, and continue exploring as you familiartize yourself with navigating and utilizing SIW.

  Summary

  I'm no Bill Gates, and I'm certainly not a Novice User, but if you're like me and desire to learn, navigate, optimize, discover, utilize, or any other number of things you can do with your pc, you need SIW TODAY!!!
