Control your household appliances and lights with this skinable remote control.
Alternative to x10's firecracker remote control for Windows. You can skin your remote with your own images/buttons. This application controls only the firecracker module (aka cm17a) that plugs into your computer's com-port. Smaller, and more efficient control of your appliances/lights via the firecracker module. Version 0.95b (beta) may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
Very Basic, Only support the firecracker type interface. Need a little refinement.

I installed it in XP Pro and my firecracker in on com 1 , so it picked it up right away. It's smaller than the one from X10 themselves which is better.
Didn't control my x10 device

As of now, I have one lamp plugged int a lamp module. The software I downloaded from x10 works great. I can't get shane's product to work.
Also, it doesn't seem to have any other capability than on and off.
Works great!
