Search GT is a replacement for Windows "File Search" tool--based on a new, extremely fast search engine. Completely integrated into the Windows Explorer, it provides a user interface similar to the standard search tool, but is up to 100 times faster. Unlike most of the desktop search programs Search GT does not use background indexing--it's ready to use right upon installing and it's using system resources only when the user is making a search.

VERY FAST FILE SEARCH ACROSS ALL COMPUTER DRIVES!

Pros
The windows utility for file search puts me to sleep, but SEARCH GT 2.3 is bilndingly fast by comparison!
Cons
The only thing I don't like is the price. I would buy it for $10, and it would be a great deal. With several computers, I could buy a license for each, but at $19.95, it is a deal breaker for this one utility... but it works FAST!
Summary
If you lose files, or have several large drives attached, this utility is a great time saver to quickly find what you are looking for. You can find files by name, or by type, or exact match... this just works! Why doesn't Microsoft make them an offer and install it in all machines?

Good Name for product. Nothing else.
Cons
Will not install and work.
Summary
Must install as administrator. No problem with this. But after installation it will not run. Uninstall leaves at least one dll file which cannot be removed/deleted. with prevents Other attempts at installing again to see if might work this time are prevented by the dll file that cannot be removed/deleted.
