Basic File Modifier is helpful utility offers you a variety of ways to batch modify and handle files of any type: Correct name and rename, customize date, change attributes, sort and much more.The primary function of Basic File Modifier is to modify the basic properties, which make up any file. Is it the date, the attributes, filename, file extension, or the location.In the following a brief explanation of some of the most important features:Set and correct date: It's possible to give the files a new date of your choice. Still correcting only certain parts (e.g. hour and day) is possible as well. Here you can choose from "Set to", "Add" and "Reduce by".Correct filename: This allows to set the case. Support is a variety of methods, including: "Lowercase", "Title case" or "Sentence case". Also self-chosen characters and text parts can be searched and replaced.Rename: One of the special features of this function are the so called placeholders. They allow you to integrate a numbering and file information such as the date, checksum, etc. anywhere into the new filename.Set destination: It's possible to replace the files, or to give them a new location. Here the placeholders can also be used. Furthermore the folder structure can be retained and files be moved to the destination which helps in e.g. classifying the files.Other features offered by Basic File Modifier are: Removing of security warnings, correcting file extension, filtering the loaded files or saving the settings as different presets.The handling of Basic File Modifier is efficient and user-friendly, because unnecessary distractions were consequently refused.
