Repair your corrupt Windows installation.

Please, note : Because Microsoft standard setup and Store procedures are very unreliable with applications which require to be run as administrator and because Visual Studio 2015 or earlier cannot build .NET Store applications and because Visual Studio 2017 requires Windows 10 for Universal Windows Platform applications, the best and most reliable way to download and install applications is the manual way where the whole application is provided as a zip file and can be downloaded and unzipped.

Such is the case with Repair.zip. Please, download Repair.zip and unzip all. Then, to launch the application, go to Your_Unzipped_Installation_Folder\Repair\Repair\Repair\bin\Release\, right click on Repair.exe and select Run as Administrator. You can also make a reference of the forementioned Repair.exe and place the reference on your desktop but this is not advisable. The best is to run Repair.exe from the native folder for the application which, in this case is Your_Unzipped_Installation_Folder\Repair\Repair\Repair\bin\Release\. The application Repair attempts to repair a corrupt Windows installation by the use of the standard Microsoft DOS ( Command Prompt ) utilities SFC.EXE and DISM.EXE, the work of which is automated by the Repair application which also provides a friendly user interface.

In principle, this application: Repair.exe for Windows is very similar and, in the main inner work, the same as Repair.bat by the same author yet much better, much more civilised and much more user friendly as Repair for Windows uses as much standard Windows interface as possible.
