  Very powerful and deep, easy macro recording, macros can get to anything, excellent developer and community support.

  Cons

  Powerful language is frustratingly close to BASIC (ie I would like it to be more standard) and can be quite cryptic if jumping from macro recording into the programming side.

  Summary

  Kind if said it above. VB it is not, but for automation tasks it is very powerful and much easier to do those kinds of things (like automate a web browser - fully). The almost stunning depth and complexity is saved (for me) be the macro recorder, wizard type dialogs, excellent help, and (as other reviews say) machine-like capabilities of its developer. It's got quite a good following so has a future.

  The other reviews almost looks like a paid ads. And if you go to the websites forum you will see that the company is giving people free registrations for giving glowing reviews, and other users are even coaching people on how to write them (one gave suggestions on how to write a con up so it was really a compliment). Ethical or not, any positive review for this software is tainted. And although the company never states that the review must be positive, I won't be holding my breath for my free registration. There are two excellent and free macro programs out there anyway (AutoIt and AutoHotkey), so save some of your pride and just use one of those if you want a freebie! <p> <p>Software does look decent enough. I have nothing against the shareware model even when there are free alternatives when the software gives compelling features that the free stuff lacks but $40 is too much for this program. If you want something simpler than the AutoIT and Autohotkey then PTFB Pro is also very good and ten dollars cheaper.

  Quick Macros is a fast, easy to use and feature rich tool that can do damn near anything you dream up. The simplicity of a macro recorder combined with the power of a full programing language like C++, WITH BONUSES! <p> <p>Beginners will love how easy QM's record feature lets them create macros. Just hit record and then "DO" what you want the macro to do. It's that simple. Beginners will also find more and more things they can do with QM's as they lean just how powerful the program really is. <p> <p>Add a tool bar to any program that will allow you to do ANYTHING you want in that program. <p> <p>Advanced users will LOVE the pure power of Quick Macros. QM's has a built in programming language with features like colored code, regular expressions, an output window for debugging as you build right in the editor. Use functions, classes, COM, win API's, type libraries, dll's and user types very much like you would in C++. Not to mention the function and command dialogs. They make using the most common functions/commands a breeze. <p> <p>Need to select an element on a web page? Gintaras is THE MAN! <p> <p>I've seen people ask how to do something and in under 10 minutes Gintaras has a _working solution_ posted, just copy and paste and the user is good to go. G-mans support is amazing. <p> <p>Make your life easier, get Quick Macros! And remember, it's Quick MacroS...with an "S". ;)

  I want to rate Quick Macros a 5 so bad it hurts. But I can't. It has nothing to do with the program itself. <p> <p>My ONLY complaint is the documentation. Help files and links to relevant web docs. (like MSDN) <p> <p>There ARE macros setup to get show the beginner how to get started. Kind of like a video using the actual software in a sort of demo mode. It works! That's fine to get you started and give you an idea of what QM's is capable of but if you're trying to learn how to use the program to it's fullest the reading can be a little lacking and dry. The help files and links sometimes assume you have a certain level of programming knowledge and that can make it hard on the newbie. <p> <p>The forum is a good place to see working examples to help you understand how to do things. Gintaras generally (but not always...) comments his code so you can understand WHAT is happening line by line. "How do I..." questions get answered in a fast and friendly manner too. <p> <p>Better explained, more in depth help files would, IMHO, make Quick Macros a perfect 5. Why are you still reading???

  Very impressed by its features and quality. Makes productivity a reality. Some macros are now implemented in the tools and applications I use, making fast actions for things I had to do using mouse and keyboard, sometimes hundreds of times on a day. <p> <p>The new feature for creating EXE from a macro will start a new phase in QM History, specially if we have triggers implemented to them in the future. <p> <p>Great utility and now a new development tool.

• Fantastic Software, Can't Live without it!

  This is the Best software I have ever purchased, no lie! The support is amazing, and the product is even better. This software automates everything for me at the office and at home. I have very little programming experience and the included samples are enough to get anyone started creating elaborate macros, or simple repetitive chores. Macros can be triggered by events such as error messages, or hot-keys. I never write reviews on software unless it's outstanding so look no further. I have tried many other macro programs and this light weight application smokes the competition!

  Cons

  The only limitations are one's own imagination. There are no cons.
