The program is the most complicated one dealing with images you can ever bump into. Photo Sorter works in a very strange way, which you can never imagine a photo browser or editor to do. After the software launches on the desktop you need to locate a folder with images and the program automatically generates thumbnails for all images inside that folder. Double-click on each image displays it not in the actual size but rather fitting to screen and there is nothing you can do about it. Moreover, in order to rename files you need to perform that double-clicking action so that an image gets dropped into a special section on the main screen for later operations. The renaming was limited to adding prefixes. As a result you better avoid this tool; there is no good coming out of it.
very quick at making thumbnail images, fairly easy to sort pictures to other folders by single clicking an image to highline and then selecting move
Cons
lots of errors while making the thumbnail list, keep getting the error message "invalid image '481'" for some reason, even though I know every picture is fine as Ive opened them all... I get this problem in several folders
Summary
Good for batches, not so good for single pics.
Freezer
Pros
A good clean interface.

Can sort lots of pics quickly and cleanly.

Thumbnails are of good quality.
Cons
Either right-click options, one-click sorting, or drag-and-drop sorting would do this product a world of good.

Also, it seems to crash when it hits a pic it can't open rather than skipping or not displaying it.
