Used PCMesh Internet and Disk Cleanup for Windows?
Editors’ Review
This simple tool will clean up your online traces, but it's far from a complete privacy solution. Although the word Pro in the application's title may lead you to believe it's much more powerful than the Lite version, that's not the case; the only difference seems to be this one can clean up DAT files. The program's tabbed structure makes it fairly simple to navigate, but many users may find its drab design unappealing. Complete Internet Cleanup Pro wipes away your surfing tracks from both Internet Explorer and Mozilla, but it doesn't support other popular browsers such as Opera and AOL. Similar to many programs in this class, this one also can perform basic Windows cleaning chores by emptying the Recycle Bin, the temp folder, and the Run Menu history. Unfortunately, though, you don't get support for third-party apps such as chat programs, P2P apps, media players, or toolbars. Securely shredding files also is not an option. The five-day period seems too short to us, particularly in light of the program's rather limited functionality. Users who don't know how to manually delete their surfing history might appreciate this program's simplicity, but most others will choose to keep looking.
