Easy to use, the software is also easy to install.
Cons
It's doesn't work, slow, very slow like you're using a 1995 dialup connection. They also make you click on terms and hidden in the terms it says they will charge you every year. Their customer service is very rude when you are trying to remove the recurring payment.
Summary
Worst service, don't waste your money on this scam.
Same here: I paid for a year but got only 3 months!

I couldn't believe when I saw other reviewers having the same! You pay a full year that is $33 for premium but then it turns out it won't work anymore after 3 months! Wow! Never been victim of such a scam before! Beware people! CNET is risking a lot by keeping this on their site.

This is actually a great piece of software an unbeatable price range, don't waste your time for paying more then needed. I did try dozens of different ones and only find that this gizmo provides me all that I need.

Nope, they are cheaters and should be avoided at all costs

Stay WAY away from these crooks. They first stated that my premium service would be valid for a year but now after 60 days I cannot use premium services anymore. They intentionally mislead me into believing that an honest one time payment would be all i needed to use the service like i had intended. Then, they will try and nickel and dime me like a two bit wh@re... not that i have experiences with whores, other than HIDE MY IP. Seriously... these guys are total wankers. Find someone else.

None. This program is a lie. Just do a search on find my IP and see if it list YOUR fake IP or YOUR real IP. Guess what? Your REAL IP will come up NOT the fake.
Cons
What a scam and joke of a program. Behind all the GOOFY graphics and stupid cartoons is a fake program that SIMULATES hiding your IP but never REALLY does. That's because they need REAL servers for you to use in order to FAKE an IP. They don't want to provide you with a REAL program. Do a search for what's my IP and I promise you that your REAL IP will be found...and NOT a fake one.

Trash program. Hope your not doing any thing that could get you caught because your REAL IP is not protected....these guys are liars and thieves that take your money with empty promises and a goofy program that simulates doing what it should.

I found this an excellent tool. Lots of servers to choose from and lots of useful additional security features such as ability to hide or change the user agent and hide referrer headers etc. Response from the support team was very quick and the price is great too. Would definitely recommend.

This is the worlds best IP hide software, This allows me to hide all my applications. When I search any games etc, I'm sure that I'm comfortable that I'm away from several hackers. This is the best hide IP software ever!

Pros
They added a new "system hooks" feature that seems to proxy all apps like VPN. They have now around 25 new locations that were not available in the old version 5, and it seems they now allow access to all IPs from the dropdown box.

Being a long time user of Hide my ip, I am happy they finally came out with a new version in July, it seems to allow access to all IPs and the connection seems more stable. Streaming sites seem to buffer faster in this new version. They improved the interface - nice job! But they removed the hotkey support feature. I want to know if they will be adding that feature again soon. I was happy when they E-mailed me a notice about my license was upgraded to the new version free of charge.
