As you might guess from the name, this program retrieves e-mail account passwords from Outlook Express, but registration is required to reveal passwords over three characters. Outlook Express Password Recovery's drop-dead simple interface is certainly a strength and it immediately displays account details including e-mail address, server address, user ID, and password. The function to copy passwords to the clipboard is very helpful. Unfortunately, the demo only reveals passwords that are less than four characters long. It will not even display the first three characters in a longer password. You must register the program to reveal passwords that exceed the three-character demo limit. The program may serve as a last-ditch hope for anyone looking to track down forgotten passwords, but Outlook Express Password Recovery disappoints with such a strict trial limitation.
