Summary
Sure, it encrypts e-mail using your password as the "key." However, for the recipients to decode the message, you have to send them your password. If the user is encrypting mail to keep certain elements from being nosey, then sending the password through e-mail is like opening the henhouse door for the fox. The encryption strength is a puny 56-bit encryption--less than half the encryption strength of IE browser. Any hacker worth his salt can crack the code, especially since every recipient of the user's e-mail has to be given the password. If I know another user's password, then I can not only encrypt messages and pose as that user, I can intercept and decrypt his messages, too. PGP is STILL free, and it is STILL the best encryption program on the market. CryptoMailer only gives the illusion of security. It must be written by either Homeland Gestapo or by a hacker. Also, the free version will not allow the user to import another user's "key." Essentially, CryptoMailer is a useless sham.

Summary
If "Defender Of The Truth" had spared 30 secs. to read the INFO on the WEB, he'd found out that there are 2 versions of the product : A FREEWARE and a commercial version. The version at CNET is ABSOLUTELY free. Tried it, loved it, and I am using it every day. "Defender of the Truth" - don't tell lies !
Didn't try it. I don't like False Advertising.
