Office Product Key Finder for Windows

User Reviews

• Totally useless as free software, waste of my time!!!!!

  Pros

Provided me the first 4 characters of my product key so I could use some other tool to actually find it.

  Cons

What a piece of crappy software! After jumping through all the cnet-installer bloatware nonsense I installed Office Product Key Finder. It found my product key (in "%PROGRAM_FILES%\Common Files\microsoft shared\OFFICE14\Office Setup Controller\PROPLUS\SETUP.XML") but only displayed the first 4 characters in the "Free for 15 days" mode. Then when I tried to close Office Product Key Finder I was presented with a dialog where the ONLY button was "click here to buy"!!! I could not close the dialog, nor the program, without going to Task Manager and killing the process. I have seen some trickery in my day, but this is atrociously abusive of a potential customer.

  Summary

Do NOT download this software! It is a waste of your time, efforts, and energy!
