Unlike those prior programs, it's designed for ordinary users rather than programmers, and it's built using the modern Windows framework, leading to an interface that is easy to use, smooth, and elegant. Tabs for working with multiple documents at once. Close Notepad Next at any time and open it again without losing your unsaved changes. Fully touch enabled - smoothly navigate both within and between documents with swipes. High-resolution support for looking fantastic on any screen, from desktop to phone to everything in between. Privacy-minded and not linked to the Cloud, so you know your confidential documents won't be sent to any 3rd parties on the Internet. Work with files created on any operating system, with support for both Windows and Unix line-endings On the roadmap for future development are performance improvements for large files, a more in-depth search function, and other advanced capabilities.
