User Reviews

• Totally unreliable company

  wwdocSeptember 15, 2009

  Pros

  not applicable

  Cons

Program is unremarkable. Original purchase included up dates by button, continuously reported no updates. Company changed to updates by email, never recieved any, current version is 4.1, or so I find in the advertisements. See Bottom-line.

  Summary

I purchased MemoKit on October 2, 2007, Order Number: 132679619. Since I?ve sent approximately 18 emails to MemoKit support to: ? Request the backup CD I paid for and never received? ? Attempting to update version 3.0 to the current version after having tried the update entry on the drop-down menu? To date I have yet to receive a single reply!!!

  Summary

I purchased this product a few years ago. Now that I have a new computer I cannot download it, as it was a life time subscription. I cannot get any answer to emails. Also i just tried to take a chance on their FREE down load, and when I clicked on free download withe the mouse, (surprise) the first thing they wanted was $29.95, Oh yes, 30 day trial and money back guarantee. Well, wonder what happened to that FREE download so fast? Any comments?

• It is good but expensive.

  Pros

It recovers memory without slow down or freeze the computer procedures. It is able to recover suplementary memory which Mem Turbo doesn't do for instance.

  Cons

There is nothing i Really dislike. I Wish it ware a little bit faster...

  Pros

I like the systray icon, it shows relative amount of memory

  Cons

No fine tuning options, the options menus are a joke. It runs OK, I just don't see any benefit here.

  Pros

  Cons

It causes my computer to slow down more than before. Also, trying to get my refund has been a headache. It almost seems like memokit support is trying to stall so that the 30 day guarentee runs out. I keep getting replies about how the program works and the whole commercial trying to sell it. It's a ripoff.
