Create CD/DVD labels, inserts, and sleeves, MiniCD, Video, MiniDisc. This software comes with 500 background images in a variety of categories. No more typing in track names with digital recognition of MP3 and other music files. The wizard mode will design and print a label in less than 30 seconds. You can directly import images from scanner, Webcam, and digital video/still camera.

Version 5.0.37 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Pros
All I use this for is simple CD/DVD designs, which even include a background image. The calibration that I set up YEARS ago remains the same every time I open the program which is just awesome! It is relatively fast and easy to use.
Cons
Haven't looked into the detail of my idea, but I would like it to allow me to have two or more calibration settings to choose from that stay in memory (i.e. "Calibration for CD", "Calibration for wine label", etc.), instead of changing the fields.
Summary
Happy with it and the price is really a bargain.

Summary
I have had all the different MediaFace labeling software over the years, from the original, to 4.0. 5.0 is the final product, combining all and impoved versions of the older releases. I would strongly reccomend.

Extremely easy to use and great customer support. 100 times better than Nero Cover Designer. Plus you get a discount rate on MediaFace online.

No Cons. Maybe just no LightScribe.
Summary
All Around good. I've made tonnes of labels for friends and they have loved them. I've been using it since version 4 came out.

Pros
This is the first labeling software i've used.I played around on blank paper for a while to get the feel of it.It's worked fine on the real thing,no wrinkled labels at all,the advanced mode took a little more time to get used to but everything considered,i find it very easy to use.
Cons
The only negative i've found is with the gloss labels.I've found that the matt labels lay flat on the applicator but the gloss type don't.I thought i could have problems when fixing but so far all have gone on OK.Might have gone for 5* but for the gloss label problem i found.

I wasn't able to insert and print two different labels at one time. Perhaps that feature is available it was a bit frustrating not knowing the feature was readily available.

-Easy to use wizard mode <p>-"advanced" graphic mode <p>-inexpensive <p>-easy to purchase extra labels on ebay or other site <p>-produces great looking labels, professional quality <p>-Wizard mode works on windows Vista (advanced mode does not, but is really not necessary anyway) <p>-Can print almost any kind of label or sleeve insert including CD/DVD, zip disk, CD/DVD core, miniCD, business card CD, digital vinyl, utility labels, spine, cassette, floppy disk, and many more. <p>-The abundance of features is so nicely organized that you can find what you want in no time, making it a very time-saving piece of software.
Cons
-Advanced mode does not work on Windows Vista <p>-takes a little practice to get your labels perfect on the DVD, but this is the case with all DVD labeling software.
