WALTR is a 3rd party software that exists for the sole reason of hassle-free transferring of media (audio and video files) from your PC to your iPhone and iPad, without worrying about conversion or playback support, and without using iTunes. It also does not require jailbreak to work. Featuring a simple drag and drop mechanism, WALTR lets you get anything on your iOS device ready for playback in a couple of clicks. This neat little tool has existed on OS X for quite some time, and with the increasing popularity, is now finally available for Windows as well.

It supports a huge variety of media file types, including MP3, MP4, AVI, CUE, WMA, AAC, M4V, M4A, FLAC, ALAC, MKV, and more. It even supports file types that are not normally compatible with iOS, including MKV, AVI, FLAC, and CUE, allowing them to be played in the native Music and Movie apps on iOS. Using WALTR is simple. After closing iTunes, a user just needs to plug an iPhone or iPad into a PC and open the WALTR app. The iOS device and its available storage space is listed at the top of the app, and files can be dragged to the blank space in the app for immediate transfer to the iOS device. Uploads begin as soon as a file is dragged into the WALTR app, and most uploads are very quick, taking a few seconds. Once a file has been transferred to the iPhone or iPad, it is accessible in either the native Movies or Music app on the iOS device, and overall, the WALTR process is simpler than converting via a separate app and then uploading through iTunes.

Dit is de beste Applicatie in jaren deze App geeft je de vrijheid waar en wanneer je iets wil bekijken of beluisteren en ook goed voor ringtones.Deze app is iedere eurocent waard.

As for me, I couldn't help noticing the following pros of WALTR: 1. Quick and easy proceeding! 2. Handy and clear in use! 3. Supports different formats! 4. Plays media on a native playback! 5. Works both for Mac and Windows! 6. Converts formats itself while uploading! ..and all this within a sole app!! Perfect! Like it!! WALTR +1 :)
Cons
Didn't found! All I wanted to have on my iPhone appeared instantly in my native app's library:) Maybe it would be great if WALTR supported text formats as well..:)

I like its design and the fact that it is really easy. You just drag and drop. And speed is great also;)

I haven`t noticed any cons so far.
Summary
It saves time and a lot of nerves for sure! No converting and no itunes. This app is really awesome;)

Pros
This app takes a little bit different approach to iPhone file transferring. I forgot about iTunes, syncing and waiting. Now I'm treating my iPhone as a thumbdrive - connect, open, drag, disconnect, enjoy! It's not just simpler, it's a lot faster. I can't even think of using iTunes now!
Cons
Ringtone maker would be good as well as something to convert unsupported e-books. Hope that developers will add this later!
Summary
This app completely changed the way I use my iPhone now. Before, I always avoided connecting my iPhone to my PC at any cost - wrong move and it will start syncing for hours and it can just freeze. I had to use dropbox even for a couple of PDFs that could have get to my iPhone through the wire so much faster. I used Google music mostly because transferring music was such a pain! This is file transferring the way it should be. I hope Apple will buy this guys or something and add this to new iPhones :)

Pros
I've been tired of the fact tht i need to use iTunes sync to upload music into my iphone. Been looking everywhere for an alternative. I FOUND IT!!!!11 :) WIth PhoneStick I can also transfer any music back to the PC, which iTunes doesn't allow me to do...
Cons
I wish there was iPod Classic and ipod shuffle support. PLease do this Softorino! :)

At first i thought it wasn't FREE, but it is, it gave me 2gigs of free transfer...then it asked me to buy it.

Pros
I love the main feature: i'm able to sync my iPhone with my computer without iTunes. It's easy and the interface is friendly.
Cons
Well, it was difficult to find this app.
Summary
I'll totally recommend PhoneStick to all of my friends who have and love iOS devices. It makes using these devices hassle free!

Pros
No need to launch iTunes. Quickly transfers songs by copying & pasting without iTunes sync!!! Transfers ringtones. Unlike other similar programs like iExplorer and CopyTrans, this PhoneStick doesn't actually have any unknown interface. Everything is very natural compared as if its a part of Windows OS.
Cons
iPod classic is not support because only iOS 5 & newer is support :(
