• Beware if you want to recover photos

  When one runs the free version of the product one is then shown thumbnails of the photos that have been found and that according to Jihosoft can be recovered. One can't however recover the photos unless one buys the full program for $49.99. Based on this, one is conned into believing that one can recover the photos and the full program is purchased. The recovery process is then activated but the photos that one recovers are not those that were lost. The program only recovers vastly inferior copies of deleted photos, these being marginally better than thumbnails. When one contacts Jihosoft about this, no solution is forthcoming and they use the excuse that one used the phone after the photos were deleted, to deny liability for their money back guarantee obligations.

  Summary

  The ability of the product to recover photos is misrepresented. Rather try similar products that allow one to recover a few sample photos with the free version. I unfortunately only found this out after I had purchased the Jihosoft product. The so called recovered photos were no better, but there is no misrepresentation, as one can see what one will be getting before having to commit to buy.
