DeepDeleter is a security tool for Windows 8 which allows you to completely remove sensitive data from your hard drive by overwriting it several times. When you delete a file, you're not really eliminating these data. The space it occupies on the hard disk becomes available, but data are still there. To really delete them, you need something more. A file that is not securely deleted, can be retrieved with a disk maintenance utility or file recovery utility. This software uses complex algorithms to erase data with a high security level. However, it is not guaranteed that deleted files can not be recovered by any present or future recovery software.
